Having type 1 diabetes is scary
Why Thunder Run? The whole idea is to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes because:
- It's the leading cause of kidney failure, adult blindness, nontraumatic amputations,
strokes and heart attacks - It's the sixth-leading cause of death in the U.S.
- It takes multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous
infusion of insulin through a pump - It's no fun for anyone, particularly a child
PRE-REGISTER NOW AND SAVE.
